Great Weekend!

My weekend

Hasn't really sunk in yet how great this weekend has been. I managed to surpass my target by $800 and did so in about half as many hands as i expected.

Below is the biggest pot i won. I feel i played it pretty well though in reflection i think that if i raised the flop slightly larger then he would've been committed to call the the river but meh, whatever, i'll just keep that in mind for next time . Note: this was against a complete maniac who i eventually took just over $1k from

As if i didn't know it already this weekend has really hammered home the importance of patient/good table selection. If you can pick up the prime seats and run semi-good you can make a ton of money.

These are my stats since the 11th of this month

At my old temp job i worked 2 summers ago that would be around 14 weeks wages at about 36 hours a week so it feels absolutely insane to take that down in just 11 days :)

In other news, I have an engineering mathematics resit exam in mid august which is a bit rubbish, there's no one to blame though it's my own fault though for being too lazy the first time around. After that though as a gift to myself for all the hard work i've put into poker i am going to buy a ps3 and this.

I figure that if i buy that then i won't need a new tv for 6-7+ years.

I think i'll take tomorrow off and play some golf.

Peace
